Mary Judge is an artist whose work is drawing based using an ancient Italian technique
she encountered in her travels. She has exhibited nationally and internationally
and her work is represented in such museums as The Victoria and Albert,
The British Museum, The Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Corcoran Gallery
of Art.
Mary is the creator of a unique olive oil dipping dish, inspired by the
terraced olive groves of Umbria, which can be seen on her website along
with her other new designs. At Buda she has designed a beautiful garden

Jack Sal is an artist whose installations, drawings and photography
have been shown and collected by such institutions as The Museum of Modern
Art New York, Musem Ludwig Cologne, Germany and The International Center
of Photography New York. In Italy Jack has participated in the Venice Biennale,
The Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto and was a visiting artist at the American
Academy in Rome. In 1987 he met Mary Judge and they married a year later
at the Campodoglio in Rome. In 1990 they purchased their first home in Umbria
and have been holiday residents every since.
